Hit the ground running
As you may have heard, building inspections and on-site property visits are now permitted, but only for properties listed prior to April 20th and for buyers and sellers who need to move before July 31st.
On-site visits and inspections are still not permitted for newly listed properties, but things are being updated almost daily, so we expect that to change soon (possibly by the time this article goes to print).
For those that do need to move. Access to homes for visits and inspections, along with platforms like FaceTime and Zoom are helping people in critical housing situations to complete transactions.
We are still advising all buyers and sellers who don’t have to move, to stay on the sidelines but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be getting prepared.
Post pandemic, real estate demand in our area is likely to be significantly high, due to low inventory levels and pent up buyer demand due to the lockdown. There are 20% fewer active listings on the market this April compared to last year.
If you are one of the many people who were thinking about selling this year before the COVID shutdown, now is the time to get prepared so you can hit the ground running and be one of the first properties to list once the market does open up.
We designed the Seller’s Roadmap for families who see value in having a well thought out plan for getting their home ready for launch. It’s a clear, simple set of steps designed to help you transition to your next home as easily as possible. Reach out to us by phone, text or email and we would be happy to send you a copy.
Hundreds of Beaconsfield homeowners have successfully navigated this journey with us over the last 20 years. And yes, we can meet with you on Zoom, Google Meet or FaceTime to get the process started!
Here is what longtime Beaconsfield residents Kim & David Redpath had to say about their recent experience working with us.
"The industry has changed in the 10 years since the last time we did this, but having a team behind us made it feel different and more supportive. Expectations are higher now. The Broady Windsor Group made what first seemed like a very daunting prospect, into an enjoyable experience. We really appreciated their professionalism, knowledge, experience and calm, approachable manner." - Kim & David Redpath
